Authorities urge nationals overseas to register with Twajudi service
DUBAI – The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has successfully evacuated and returned nearly 6,000 of its citizens and their companions from several countries amid ongoing regional developments.
Authorities confirmed that the large-scale operation was carried out through a coordinated national response involving multiple government entities.
The evacuation was implemented under approved contingency plans led by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority. Officials said the citizens were brought back safely to the UAE through a combination of land and air entry points in coordination with relevant authorities.
The operation forms part of the country’s integrated emergency response system, designed to address crisis situations with speed, flexibility and high levels of preparedness.
Evacuation effort
Authorities reported that approximately 6,000 UAE nationals and their companions were successfully returned during the operation. The effort involved close collaboration across national institutions and international partners to ensure smooth and secure travel arrangements.

In its latest advisory, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs urged UAE nationals abroad to register with the Twajudi service to ensure they can be contacted quickly during emergencies. Citizens were also encouraged to reach the dedicated emergency number for nationals overseas at +971 80024 in cases of urgent need.
Meanwhile, the National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority called on the public to rely only on official information sources and to avoid circulating rumours or unverified reports.
Authorities affirmed that national institutions remain fully prepared to monitor regional developments and implement necessary measures to safeguard citizens and residents, supported by a coordinated national framework focused on efficiency, cooperation and rapid response.
